It moves east via Walnut Street before switching north to Fair Oaks Avenue toward the northernmost edge at Ventura Freeway. The northern boundary shifts to Foothill Freeway. This edge meets the eastern border at Los Robles Avenue. The fringe ends at East California Boulevard, part of the southern border. The perimeter moves west and cuts off toward the north at South Marengo Avenue until East Del Mar Boulevard. This boundary side moves west until a bit ahead of Cat Boarding Pasadena, which angles north to Holly Street. The border trails until Pasadena Avenue. From here, the border tracks south until West Dayton Street. Moving to the east, the boundary edges down South De Lacey Avenue. The perimeter reaches West Del Mar Boulevard and moves further west until Long Beach Freeway.
