John Paul Sazon
John Paul Sazon, also known as JP, grew up on the east side of San Gabriel Valley in the small Walnut city. Growing up with both parents in the Real Estate and Mortgage industry, it is easy to see how he got into the business. His passion for the industry surfaced in the third grade, where he learned how to operate his own business and understand the profits he would make just by playing with monopoly money! He was able to use his money to purchase small items at the concession stand. This is where JP’s love for entrepreneurship began!
After high school, JP attended UCR and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing and sociology. After graduating, he became a marketing director at Tokyo Ultra Lounge in Hollywood. He also held the recruiter position for an IT firm in Newport Beach. Not long after, JP obtained his Real Estate and Mortgage broker licenses at 24. He learned many different positions, ranging from transaction coordinator to escrow sales representative.
JP holds many valuable experiences, from as far back as his childhood to the present time, that have greatly prepared him for the leadership role he upholds as the managing broker and owner of CENTURY 21 Cristal Cellar. His passion for people shows through his support and encouragement for his team. Not only does he value the time spent with his team, but he also loves to spend quality time with his clients.
In his downtime, JP enjoys hanging out with his wife and two kids. In the Sazon household, every Friday night is movie night! Some of his favorite hobbies are snowboarding, riding his e-bike, barbecuing with friends, traveling, and enjoying some good whiskey!
On the weekends, my husband and I love exploring new adventures with our two kids while creating lifelong core memories for them. I realized long ago that this is a luxury not everyone is fortunate enough to have. Naturally, I fell into a career in recruiting, and it brings me great joy to give people opportunities that can help them maintain a comfortable lifestyle. I’ve been in recruiting for about 8 years now and have had the pleasure of watching my hires blossom in their field. If you have any interest at all in The Real Estate or Mortgage Loan industry – let me help you!

In 2013 when I went through the process of buying my first home in San Gabriel Valley, it was quite a revelation for me. From looking at dozens of listings to making offers and reviewing selling documents, I enjoyed every bit of it. It was like I have graduated to my next chapter of life! So much so, that I decide to leave the banking industry and ended my 10-year tenure with Union Bank to pursue a career in Real Estate. My time served in retail banking has taught me so much in professional customer & team relationships, leadership skills, money & time management, and the list goes on and on…
Today, being a real estate investor myself with the business skills I have learned through my professional endeavors and combining my educational background in Business Administration & Marketing, I’m proud to call myself a trusted Realtor Partner when it comes to selling and buying homes. In a constantly changing real estate market, the process of selling or buying a home may seem complicated and overwhelming. As your trusted Realtor Partner, my goal is to break down the process to make it as clear, smooth, and headache free as much as possible for you. Enough about me, what about you? Let’s connect because I want to hear all about your real estate plans and how we can partner up to get you into your next chapter!
I’ll never forget walking into our very first home. I immediately started planning where we would put the Christmas tree and how we would decorate our daughter’s nursery (I was six months
pregnant at the time)! I imagined birthday parties thrown in the backyard & the family dinners I would cook in the kitchen. I was so excited about making memories & starting traditions! To me, a home is so much more than walls, windows, doors & a roof. It’s where you share experiences with the ones you love. Having the opportunity to be just a small part of what makes up life is what has inspired me to become a Realtor. Knowing that I’m introducing you to the home where your best friends will come over for barbecues or where your future grandchildren may take their first steps touches my heart profoundly. I don’t want to simply “sell your a house” or “help you buy another home.” I want to be there when you create a new family tradition or help recreate your favorite childhood memory with your own family. I want to be more than just the agent that sold your home. I want to be your friend who brought your favorite homemade dessert (ya, I love to bake) along with the keys to your “new life.”
I want to be part of your memories and your traditions! I want to help you create something that lasts. I can’t wait to start this new adventure with you! Thank you for trusting me to be your

At the young age of 19, Alex Cervantes, a Pasadena High School graduate joined the Cristal Cellar Family in 2022. He enjoys playing golf in his free time as well as going to the gym. He developed leadership roles that have helped him become an exceptional agent. He is dedicated to helping families find their dream home all while making it as smooth as possible.
During the process, we had many questions, and each time John was quick to respond. He was in constant contact with the builder in a respective way, and cleared up all mix-ups that arose. He stayed on top of the loan process, minimized troubles and made sure we closed on time. He went above and beyond wherever we needed help. John Paul was a true professional from the initial meeting to final closing, keeping us thoroughly informed and process on track. His expert knowledge, timely communication, and genuine friendliness made buying a home a breeze. It would have otherwise been a mess without his help and guidance. With that being said, we could not be more pleased with the entire process.
We are extremely grateful that we had the opportunity to work with John Paul and his team. I would highly recommend his services and expertise to anyone looking to purchase a home. We will surely be turning to him again in the future on our next property purchase. read less
JP and I had a long conversation and he helped my wife and I re-orient our preferences. We quickly decided to sacrifice location for floor layout, space, and modern design. JP then showed us a new community in Ontario that had some beautiful newly built homes. That next weekend my wife and I were touring the model homes and making a deposit.
JP walked us through the entire process. The process can seem super overwhelming and requires a lot of your time. Luckily all we had to do was send our questions to JP. He would help get us responses quickly from the builder and from the mortgage company. We relied on his experience for lots of decisions that we did not know how to make.
We love our new home! The experience was time consuming and tedious but JP the Cristal Cellar team helped us every step of the way! We highly recommend JP! read less

The entire process was a breeze all thanks to Cristal Cellar. Selling a property isn't easy and it was especially complicated for us considering COVID precautions, newborn baby, dogs, and schedule for a contingent sale. The second we reached out to Cristal Cellar about wanting to sell our condo, they went above and beyond. JP and his team were in contact with us the whole time so we always felt reassured during a process that can typically be stressful. They talked through the entire process with us, considered our specific needs and constraints, scheduled each of the steps in the home selling process, and executed everything with ZERO issues.
Cristal Cellar advised us on how to prep our home for listing photos and showings. They even visited the property themselves to make sure it was photo and visitor ready. The listing photos, video, and marketing website turned out beautiful. Cristal Cellar worked with us to prepare a listing description and ensured we were happy with what was posted. They worked with us well to schedule listing photos, showings, inspections, repairs, and walk throughs. We were happy every step of the selling process, but especially impressed and satisfied with the negations. JP is definitely a pro and it showed. We trusted him every step of the way including establishing listing price; working with buyer agents to encourage multiple offers; and negotiating price, repairs, and terms. They were able to sell our condo at the price and with the terms we wanted. As mentioned, this entire process occurring during the COVID, and they made us feel reassured by providing gloves and shoe covers for all visitors, and efficient scheduling to limit the amount and frequency of visitors.
We highly recommend Cristal Cellar and we will definitely be working with them in the future. read less

Cristal Cellar has a vast library of videos explaining the most basic terms and then some fancier words related to the home buying process. JP conducted a one-on-one class with me and my husband in his office showing us step by step what to expect and how to figure out our budget.
When we finally felt ready to pull the trigger, JP and his team managed the entire loan acquisition and the piles of paperwork that we sent their way. Admittedly, we were super disorganized with a bunch of confusing money habits, but he had nothing but patience and kindness for us.
After we closed (under asking! Thanks, Will!), JP has continued to be available to us for ongoing questions regarding taxes or new loans. He hasn't gotten sick of us, yet! I recommend JP and Cristal Cellar whole-heartedly for anyone looking for real estate advice and performance. I would now consider JP a friend who I will continue to bug with money questions for as long as I have them. read less
