It’s that time of the year we’ve all been waiting for–the holidays are finally here! Feeling stressed out about all the gifts you have to buy this year? Fear not–Cristal Cellar has come to the rescue to provide you all with a few stress relieving activities you and your loved ones can partake in this season!

Outdoor Skating in LA–Ice at Santa Monica (November 1, 2017 – January 15, 2018)

Although it doesn’t naturally snow in LA, one of the most popular holiday pastimes is ICE SKATING! During the holidays, Downtown Santa Monica turns 5th Street and Arizona Avenue into an outdoor ice skating rink. Admission is $15 for all-day skating which includes skate rental. If you or your loved ones don’t know how to skate, The Randy Gardner School of Skating provides ice skating lessons with professionals for everyone, from beginners to advanced skaters. Hollywood Christmas Parade (November 26th, 2017)

On the Sunday after Thanksgiving, the 86th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade will commence! It will feature Santa Claus arriving in Tinseltown with floats, marching bands, and tons of celebrities walking along Hollywood Boulevard. The Grand Marshal will be Dr. Oz, from the award winning “The Dr. Oz Show.” It will be hosted by Laura McKenzie and Erik Estrada, with guest hosts such as Montel Williams, Elizabeth Stanton, Garrett Clayton, and Dean Cain. To get to the parade, Go Metro and take the Metro Red Line to the Hollywood/Vine or Hollywood/Highland Station.


Reindeer Romp – L.A. ZOO (Through January 7, 2018)

The annual Reindeer Romp will be back for the holiday season at the Los Angeles Zoo & Botanical Gardens, featuring Reindeer Village and daily visits with real life reindeer. The reindeer will be seen from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily through Jan. 7, 2018, but the zoo will be closed on Christmas Day.
