Jet Propulsion Laboratory at CalTech

Located inside California’s famous technology school CalTech, Jet Propulsion Laboratory tours can be accessed through the Public Services Office and tours are offered FREE for groups and individuals . You can also go to the Von Karman Visitor Center. There are many replicas of space ships and other space tools. Great place for the inner nerd in everyone!

Sounds a little erie when you first hear the name of this museum, but in Los Angeles anything goes. This small interesting museum lives up to its name as the whole museum is a showcase of old artifacts, letters and the last remaining photos of United States most famous serial killers. Located on famous Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood this place is a must for $15/person at the entrance and FREE parking in the back of the building.  A true must for horror enthusiastics!

Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angeles

In the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, the Cathedral of Our Lady temple got a big renovation in the last couple years. Exquisite and divine is the best way to describe the beautiful, elaborate and postmodern architecture as seen from the 101 Freeway. The cathedral is known for holding group baptisms on the weekends and other religious events during the week. Aside from being a true piece of the art, you can easily access the Grand at downtown, the John Ferrar, the Music Center, Disney Concert Hall, The Broad, MOCA, California Plaza, Angel Flight, Bradbury, Grand Central Market and other great downtown places. Venice Canals

These canals are secretly tucked behind Venice’s famous Kinney Abbot street right next to the Venice board walk. The canals stretched along a whole neighborhood of $3 Million Dollar theme homes. Take walk along the beautiful and tranquil canals, walk your dogs, of take your family sight seeing. This is truly magical experience as it is the Venice Italy California version. Once there be sure to check out the Muscle Beach and its famous beach body builders that is also walking distance to all Venice’s art and food district.

The Annenberg Space for Photography Exhibition Museum

You cannot afford to miss this exquisite and story telling museum especially if you are a Photography junkie. They have a global Refugee section covered by amazing photographers with photos from Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Greece, Myanmar, many other countries. This is definitely the spot to check out if you are on a budget. Admission is free and parking is $3 per 3 hours and $1 on the Weekends.
